Do you think once Manga dethrone the Super Hero genre as the first place?
By 2008, Beam was making an impact worldwide, many call it a phenomenon and one of the greatest achievements in Japan. But now they seem to have made a dent in their numbers, the sale of parts of what they were and just went in the top 500 list of the comics that usually make up less than one percent (0.35%) for, if they're lucky to 2.5% (on Very Rare occasions). The only thing that seems who do better is in the form of trade paperback selling a total of 29 of them (namely, Tokyopop, Bandai combined) 300. Still not good, but better than mediating comic sales. Do you think it will ever return again and dethrone the comics Commercial (Super heroes and anti heroes), or you think is going to plummet even lower to the point where you go underground and only in special applications online? If you do not know what the pocket trade, means that collect various issues and put in a great book. That's usually how Manga is so, which explains its thickness.
I think one of the major problems that Manga comics and West (and the States – I am not referring to things cowboy) alike are suffering from is that it is all digital if it makes sense or not. People are pushing for readers replace electronic books – and is leading bookstores and specialty shops that sell comic books out of business. Many grocery stores or _magazines_ sell even more, regardless of comics or manga. That said …. _If_ The Comic Book form, either in Western culture or Japanese-inspired type survives will evolve much as it has done. And something else. U.S. pressures Manga comics writers pay more attention to character-oriented stories and look beyond the super-hero at least once in a while …. and well, to suggest that American comic books have no influence on Manga? The person who says that obviously never heard of Dragon Ball, Naruto, manga, or a host of other action-oriented. If there is something I think what happens is that the boundaries are blurred. Sure, the two largest in the comic books cling to their superheroes – are intellectual property and license to make money after all. However, some properties on the other side is treated in the same way – both iconic properties such as DBZ characters are now. And similarly, there are many courageous people in the independent side U.S. comic book to explore the anime you do, if your way. We may not have many schools. But if comics have peak sales of "zombie plot" are any indication, is a sign that people want less _try_ expand into other genres such as horror personal. I personally think there is plenty of space, at least independent publishers for new writers and artists alike to keep things a penchant for science fiction, or more stories to tell the world that are more personal real, maybe a little warmer and more down to earth than usual in the middle-and crowds. Stay away from big events and the infamous "Wizard welcome page promotional" and maybe there will be a creative respite. But hey, what do I know? Perhaps the future is not in comics, but in online animation. Many people already in line stick figures and make them well …. is only a matter of getting people to "fight club "and how the story mode ….
