Do you think a modern nuclear submarine could be retro fitted to withstand the dangers of Outer Space?
Sorry i been watching battleship yamato re runs.
it could in theory, as like spacecraft, the hull is airtight, but it wouldn’t work in practice, primarily because a submarine is much too massive for any current launch vehicle to carry, as well, it would have to be fitted with a propulsion system that functions in space
