¿I can upgrade the resolution of a DLP TV from 420 to 720 to change the chip? Or is it simply impossible?
I have an old 420 I bought DLP TV when just entering the market, but now 720 and 1080i are biting best. I really do not want to spend more money on a new TV if I can upgrade to a better resolution. I know the technology is based on a single chip that makes the image and projected onto the screen. But here's the question: Can the update?
You have a system of mirrors that has 420 lines. There is no way to get 720 of that. And in other parts of the electronics probably can not operate at twice the speed – which can not overdrive processor 2x
