Im on a course of electricity and I have to do a project and I have no idea what kind Maybe I should make a robot or something simpler?? I have to do somthing less than 50 pounds rules <> that has to move, flash, and interact any ideasssss?

Amazing world of Robot Kits
Fascinated with electronics, then it will be doubly fascinated by robots. And if you are indeed, then pick up the robot for the kits you can have an incredible learning experience at home. But for beginners, let us understand what is a robot kit? Technically, a robot kit is a special construction kit which is used to build robots, autonomous mobile robots in particular. In all, the kits are a great educational tool that keeps you involved and informed at the same time.
The robot kits are available for all age groups and there can be many options but selection. Beginners can start with entry level kits to venture into this field.
Remember it is always best to understand the whole process and technology before beginning to participate with a costly kit.This is just to avoid any accidents in the process. These kits usually consist of structural elements, mechanical elements, motors (Or other actuators), sensors and a controller that controls the inputs and outputs of the robot.
Some advanced equipment are also available without electronics in order to offer you the opportunity to use your won designed electronics controllers and other circuits.
There are many manufacturers and designers of games that offer a wide range of mechanical, and several other multi-programmable kits. The kits are usually a combination of mechanical and electronic process with a programmable chip and can be used widely as a teaching tool, while the high-end kits are similar.
The only difference is much complexity can be a product artificial intelligence, which is incorporated in the robots. These high-end robots take a considerable amount of time to complete and can be taken as a group task rather than a individual activity.
One of the kits of popular games is the robot qfix. Qfix kits are an excellent educational tool for the purpose of teaching robotics. They are very popular and are commonly used in schools, colleges and mechatronics training in companies. Apart from this hobby robot builders often use these kits.
Another popular game is manufactured by the Lego Mindstorms legends and consists of mechanical parts, an advanced controller, various sensors and actuators, and environment software to program the robot built.
The kits qfix mechanical parts are made of aluminum and all components are industry standard. The mechanical elements in these kits include bars and plates, engine mounts and sensors, axles and wheels.
In general, Atmel controllers are used as electronic components.Mastering this activity can lead to the competitions which are held at different levels of building robots. This may be the most rewarding experience for any participant to present and show their robot.
