The cost of uninsured drivers
The Government has released figures showing that more than 2 million vehicles on the road in Britain uninsured, ie one of every 15 vehicles driven illegally, uninsured on British roads.
The immediate impact this is having is the cost, each year are uninsured drivers costing 500 million pounds, is insured motorists are shelling out to cover this cost, and are paying an extra £ 350 million in insurance premiums.
