Tribotesters for friction tests accurate!
friction testers are used in packaging and paper industries, manufacturing floor, as well as plastic and rubber manufacturing companies to gauge the softness or slippyness of any product. A tribometer is ideally an instrument used to determine the degree of friction in the friction surfaces. Different types of tribometers the intensity of the Pin-namely, tribometer in each case, linear tribometer, high load and high pressure tribometers and many more models to assess the slipperiness or softness of a product and determine the amount of friction present. Tribotesters manufactured by us are used to perform many versatile range of tests and simulations of wear, friction and lubrication. The types of tests that can be effectively designed using our specialized team is Pin-on-disc, Ring-on-ring, and the ball on the experiment ring. The degree of sliding friction and present in a given product is indicated by the coefficients friction term. This shows two important components that serve the determining factors in the measurement of friction: – * Static coefficient of friction: – This indicates that the force required to obtain two inert surfaces movement and strength to do this is maximum. * Dynamic coefficient of friction – This requires less strength and is used to keep the two surfaces in motion once the initial inertia is overcome.
The coefficient of friction or the (COF) is measured in two ways different namely the "Slope of friction test method" and "flat bed friction test method."
