How fast can i drive while locked in 4 wheel high and / or 4 wheel drive low?

I have a manual with my vehical, a Dodge Ram 1500 4×4, but i cannot find anything on it, or with documentation on the maximum speed limit, when a drive wheel configuration 4. Maximum speed, not speed, but to know my limits. for use in difficult conditions, snow or ice and off road. did not receive much information my manual. other responses, I figured ill add this: 17inch tires M + S rated. 6-speed automatic transmission. I do not know my Gear ratios however.

You should not be 4-wheel drive unless you are locked in a wet / icy road, dirt or snow. Never use it in a way dry with good traction. In high-4WD vehicle you should be able to go 70-80 mph with that. In 4WD low, I suspect that the limit will be around 35-40 mph depending on gear and the size of your tires. I do not know what his final relationship is and how tall are your tires. In 4WD low can basically go as fast as possible without the tachometer needle in the RED in top gear. That is the bottom like. Note however that goes fast in 4WD Low is going to burn gasoline like crazy. 4WD low should be used only when moving slowly up, trying to decent a slippery steep hill or when you drag something on a slippery surface. This does NOT give you more traction than people think and what really makes the wheels turn more likely that in most situations it is best to use 4WD high unless you are in an extreme situation.
