I've always been against the Republican Party's strategy to paint Obama as a friend of terrorists, a Marxist, or an illegal alien, because I think most Democrats do not care if he was, and the undecideds are too stupid to know what those things anyway. So, hypothetically speaking, if it turns out that Obama was friends with Bin Laden, Che Guevara adored, and a foreigner Illegal would change the outcome of the election at all?
But he is not a terrorist, socialist, illegal alien. And if it was I did not vote for him. What id McCain was a baby killing, war mongering, dictator? Could Republicans voted for him? I think your question is good, because it brings up the fact that both sides have some blind followers to vote for their candidate no matter what. History has shown that a population of blind followers produced. Ask the Germans. Thomas Jefferson said: "Democracy depends on an educated and informed population." I wonder if many supporters of either party have any. I do not need a radio talk show host to tell me how to think. I think it's time to be Americans, and keep our country in mind before thinking of the party. We must be able to differ in opinions, and that's what makes us strong. But the petty character assassinations have nothing to do with anything other than spot.
