Mechanical Walking

Mechanical Walking
How do I install a void in my 88 sedan dealer mechanic carb.model agree?

I have a mechanical vacuum fell off my Distributor (age) has a little rod that goes into the distributor housing and 2 air lines going to the carburetor. I just got the part and he hoped he could walk somenoe through commissioning. I connected to two air lines at the moment and the car runs rough because it was mechanical vacuum. Do not just stick new mechanical or vacuum advance I have to set the timing and adjust something? Thanks

This task is relatively easy, provided you have a little knowledge and tools. I hope that marked the 2 vacumn hoses leading to the diaphragm before they have to go back to whence they came. How did 'Falling' the unit to start? It takes place at the dealer with screws. It is best to remove the dist. head and work in a bank, although this is not set in stone. That rod ' you see is the arm of the advance unit that attaches to the dist. plate. The best thing is to get a shop manual or online (your local library should have an electronic database) to investigate this. If the distributor is removed, you will need to adjust the timing
