Read this before hiring young workers

Administration is at a crossroads. An excess of resumes, creating what I call the "Resu-mess", is driving employers to change their way of recruiting, receiving and reviewing applications and interview candidates.

An effective recruitment strategy accomplishes two things. First, identify where and when to recruit new employees. Second, define how you will identify them.

What can an organization to find the most qualified young workers and then to identify quickly and effectively?

Simplifying the application process. To attract at first and then hire young talents in reality, that makes the whole application process as convenient as possible is essential. An applicant processing system is well designed as the EZ-Pass of human resources. You can help a filter to organize and quickly resumed the process and provide a recruitment process in line with the expectations of their future workforce. Prospective employees must be able to fill out an application online 24 / 7. Immediately after submitting their resumes, these candidates will be asked to complete an interview automated online job evaluation in the form, allowing candidates to self-qualify or disqualify themselves. For the director of human resources, this means fewer phone calls to the unskilled, unmotivated and disinterested candidates, but faster access and response to those qualified.

Participate today or tomorrow is left behind. It seems like yesterday that websites and forums for jobs as Monster and CareerBuilder were best practice strategies to recruit new talent. But as fast as you can say "classified ad," Monster and CareerBuilder are being replaced by Facebook and LinkedIn as a recruiter candidate preferred "hunting." This is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to changing the way young workers to find employment. In order to compete for the leading candidates, no company can neglect the social networks.

The work that matters. employees connect to their concerns. More important that money is the meaning. Gen Ys want their life has a purpose and that his work is significant. Many measure their success by doing the work that matters. Significance has many faces: it can mean offering the employee the opportunity to telework so that he or she can stay home with their young children, your company can adopt a charity, or direction of an entire community "going green" initiative. Share what your company values in their e-recruitment and promotion so that each employee is connected to them. But what is false. An organization can not only promote the significance is, without a job that is the truth. Good News travels fast, bad news travels faster. If community participation is promoted as a value of the company, it's just not worth a bullet point in the marketing brochure.
