Old Cosmic
So the old people of R & P what was the first CD was given when the change took place vinyl?

B52 mines was cosmic thing, I toke ages to save for a CD player. Or for young people which was the first CD you have?

I remember exactly the day I bought my CD player in the first place: July 4, 1985. I bought three CDs to date: The Rolling Stones: Beggars Banquet Jimi Hendrix Experience: Smash Hits Jefferson Starship: Red Octopus All three were records that already had on vinyl, but I had decided to start replacing my favorite albums little by little … These proved to be a revelation, the sound was much better than vinyl something shady. I started grooving on all the little sounds are not heard clearly or even noticed at all on vinyl, as piano on "Jig Saw Puzzle" and the vocals on "Hey Joe" That, plus the fact that scratches became less of an issue that I had hooked. The first CD I bought without even bothering to buy the album was "Skylarking" by XTC in 1986 … Fantastic album, not a bad time on it. His exuberant production seemed they should be heard on the CD. After that, they rarely bought on vinyl again. I changed my 3000 or so vinyl records in 1989 and never looked back again. These days, I have no CD's either. I have a music collection much larger than I ever dreamed then, all in mp3.
