I'm thinking about starting a small air taxi service operating within Greece, Any advice?
The main idea is to start small, with one or two single piston aircraft (1950-1980 000.), then expand to double piston Cessna 421 six seats, or 20 Mooney exec. (300,000 euros in April.) Providing transport for tourists and the Greek islands, I and my friends as pilots, and our wives handleing reserve, etc. accounts. What do you think of that? Thanks everyone!
First, start with a lot of money if you want to do a little. Do your research and the job market well and make sure you get all the approvals (Certificate of operation, permission to land. Etc.) For short distances in Greece, use a Cessna 182 or 206. For the expansion I would recommend a Piper Navajo Chieftain or BN2A Island of short hops. You do not need pressurization and high speeds for short distances. The Mooney M20 executive is useless as a commercial aircraft. You could carry three people light two people to go along, or a person with a normal amount of luggage. The Cessna 421 is a piece of shit, at least go to 414 which has no gear motors. Most of these aircraft (Cessna 400 series) require an expensive mod crossbar before it can operate commercially.
Gain maximum braking power with the Mazda brake caliper
The modern brake system has undergone rigorous refinements over 100 years has now become extremely reliable and efficient. In your Mazda, the brake mechanism is one of the most critical influence on the handling and driving safety. Is responsible for setting the moving vehicle at a standstill. It does this by absorbing the kinetic energy of your vehicle and converts it into heat. Namely successfully implemented with the efficiency of its working parts, such as the Mazda brake caliper. This is the assembly that holds the brake pads and pistons. These pistons are made usually aluminum or chrome iron. typical design uses a simple hydraulic piston caliper that goes inside the cylinder. But for high-performance brakes are equipped with no fewer than twelve pistons. Modern cars use a different circuit which activates hydraulic brakes that are on each wheel. The hydraulic design is more effective because it can multiply the braking force. The number of employees of the caliper piston is sometimes referred to as the number of "pots."
In terms of high performance and braking response, with a reliable Mazda brake caliper is a must. It is considered the most integral part of the braking system and which is the free car stops moving. This is the U-shaped device and is oriented with a piston on each side of the U. The brake pads are to the sides of the U and the disc brake is located inside the brake caliper. As force is applied to the brake pedal, a high pressure fluid brake master cylinder is forced to brake caliper when the piston is activated. This in turn pushes the brake caliper and allow to act decisively against the brake disc. This creates a massive friction, which stops or slows the wheels turning. The wheels are turning thousands of RPM and the work of the brake caliper stop or slow it down. Imagine the enormous force that the gripper Mazda brake must endure. More heat generated by friction is dispersed across the brake pad, along with the brake disc. But between these parties, brake caliper has to bear most of the tension during braking.
Usually there are two main types of pliers and these are the floating brake calipers and the fixed calipers. Other clamp designs but these two are the most popularly used. Floating calipers are known as "floats" or moves on a track mounted on their support. This is necessary so that the center itself on the rotor. When brake pressure is applied, the hydraulic fluid pushes in two directions: a piston that forces the inner pad, allowing you to push against the rotor and two, push the caliper in the opposite direction to make contact with the outer pad. Moreover, fixed calipers are mounted firmly to the stand and not allowed to move. Instead, they use two pistons on each side of the clip that rub against the pads and the rotor. These types of brake calipers provide better feel and are more efficient but are expensive to produce and cost more in the service as opposed to floating pliers that are less expensive to produce.
