Why are some of the Webkinz and animal lil'kinz so hard to find? Hippo above all, any ideas?

Lil'kinz Hippo Webkinz Hippo Webkinz HTF Webkinz lil'kinz rare, eye duck

My son has the Hippo and they really have trouble finding it. The hippopotamus I have not seen Lil Kinz. The reason has not seen the Lil Kinz googles is because, it is not. They have not done. The reason you may be having a difficult time finding them is probably because the stores you're going to not have ordered them, could be on backorder or have sold very quickly. Try calling the stores in your area see if they have what you want before spending the $ $ on gas. Good luck!

Learning the eBay Lingo

Do you have trouble understanding at times when talking about eBay? Do not worry, some of the jargon is very dark, and can not wait to understand it until someone told you what it means. Here is a short list of some of the most useful lingo to know, but need not memorize it – even most common jargon is only used relatively rarely.

Words.

Bid: telling eBay's system the maximum price you are willing to pay for an item.
Dutch: an auction where more than one of an item is available.
Feedback: positive or negative comments left by other users on eBay.
Mint: in perfect condition.
Non-paying bidder: a bidder who wins an auction, but will not purchase the item.
PayPal: a method electronic payment accepted by most sellers.
Rare: used and abused on eBay, now entirely meaningless.
Reserve: the minimum price the seller accept for the item.
Shill bid: a fake bid placed by a seller trying to auction to raise their rates.
Snail Mail: the mail, which is obviously very slow compared with email.
Sniping: bidding at the last second to win the game before anyone else can overcome offer you.

Abbreviations.

AUD: Australian Dollar. Currency.
BIN: Buy it Now. A fixed price auction.
BNWT New With Tags. One element that has never been used and still has its original tags.
BW: Black and White. Used for films, photos, etc.
CONUS: continental States USA. Generally used by sellers who do not want to post things to Alaska or Hawaii.
EUR: Euro. Currency.
FC: First Class. Type of shipment.
GBP: Great pounds. Currency.
HTF: Hard to find. It is not as abused as "rare" but getting there.
NIB: New in box. Never opened, still in its original box.
NR: No Reserve. One item that the seller has not set a reserve price.
OB: Original Box. An element that has its original box (but might have been opened).
PM: Priority Mail
PP: Parcel Post.
SH: Shipping and handling charges. The fees the buyer pays for postage.
USD: U.S. Dollars. Currency.
VGC: Very Good Condition. Not very good, but close.

Most likely you will find more specific jargon related to what you are selling, but it would be an impossible task to cover everything here. If you can not find your knowledge of the subject, then type the term in a search engine, followed by the word 'ebay'. Chances are that someone, somewhere has seen fit to explain.

While it's nice to be able to understand the jargon of others, do not use it unless you really need (for example, if you run out of space in an article title). Many people on eBay are not experienced buyers and you will lose them if you write a lot of nonsense in all your auction.

For now, you're well prepared eBay life, and you're probably ready to begin the first auction. The following e-mail, we will show you how to dive and get started.
