How fast is a "G" in space?
Ok, wikipedia says that 1G is 9.80665 meters per second squared. I'm assuming that only applied on Earth. Is the acceleration of accumulation of G-Force say a space fighter pilot so in a vaccuum as it would on Earth?
A person can not tell the difference between a sense force due to gravity or due to acceleration. A fighter pilot's "Pullin 'g' not because gravity, but due to the acceleration of his office. The G-forces felt in the vacuum of space would be the same as those who feel on Earth. The unit "G" could apply and which is a measure of force felt by the pilot, due to its high / acceleration.
