Can you identify this movie Japanese-American for me?
Around 1986, maybe later I remember watching this amazing style drawings animated Japanese science fiction manga but without setting it in space, and the topic was very adult, I remember a scene where there was a dance on the boat and the characters well dressed and danced, but that's all I remember, can anyone shed some light? It wasn't battle of the planets or Yamato, which could have been the railroad galaxy, but do not think so?? please help, thanks

Before the Katana
