Any mechanics out there?
My husband has a 98 Isuzu Hombre. When it is super cold outside it will not start. As soon as it is heated outside it starts and runs very well. He tried to change the old battery with a new one, but that did not work. If you put a trickle charger all night starts well in the morning. The two know nothing about cars. Can anyone help? Thanks! For super cold I mean about 40 degrees. I know it is not cold for all but in Cali that is cold!
Make sure the battery has sufficient bought CCA (Cold Start in amperes). If you need help, check with the store parts and can usually tell if it is large enough for the vehicle. Even places like Auto Zone will test your charging system for free to see if There is another problem.
