Vampire Skull

Vampire Skull

How do doctors and nurses prepare themselves for graphic gore?

Because they would have to prepare for the unexpected (you know what I mean like brains hanging out of the skull, giant holes in the body exposing the intestines or ribs, bones bent backwards etc) I thought I could handle gore but vampire blood hasn’t got nothing on real life tragedies lol, I wanted to be a doctor but now I think I would be sick if I saw those things in real life, which is a shame.

I guess the question can also be aimed at anybody who deals with unusual bodies, dead or alive.

some people are just not as bothered by stuff like that. like, for example, my uncle. he is a volunteer fireman and does some work as a partial EMT. he has had to clean up brains and random stuff on the road after car accidents, and that doesn’t bother him, but he can’t bear to clean up my cousin’s throw-up.
