What size rod fits a 54mm takara road bike?
I just bought a 54mm …. takara vintage roadbike However, I want to change all of the crank handle at a fixed speed …. I'm not sure what size crank set i should be looking for …. please help!
I think it can mean many things for the size? frame size is not important, as is size. someone who travels to 54 typically uses a 170 crank mm, but this is very flexible, depending on your personal style and strengths. a shorter crank arm that works best for a spinner and one no longer works best for someone who is inclined to push big gears. Then there's the whole thing sized plate. Again, it depends on what you ar doing riding. changing speeds you need to fix something that can handle the routes are mounting. if you threw a 53T on the existence and his walks were great hills, obviously that isn't going to work. From Likewise if you ride flats and put a very small, you will be spinning the brain and could not keep up with the pedals. if you mean the size that fits the existing bottom bracket, depending on what was in it now. since it is vintage, there may be a square hole, but there are different sizes depending on the crank that is there. usually it is best to replace the crank and BB as a whole so everything matches nicely, and this is especially true if you arent sure about how to exchange things.
