I'm making a model of a hovercraft in a class and want to know how to make it go faster. How I can do that?
It is a model base made of foam and was wondering if I could do anything to make it go faster than others. Also, what other advanced materials could make the bottom or the hovercraft skirt can be a real fact that is not vinyl and nylon.
think "Light." Have you ever worked in fiberglass? you can make a panel amazingly strong yet lightweight composite by setting a 2 or 3 layers of fiberglass cloth on a piece of cardboard, then sand the cardboard after he was cured. If your model is by means of electric motors for the drive, turn up the voltage by 10 or 12%. Not much else to burn. The pill type batteries have the same power and so less weight than standard alkaline cells – does not last long though. If you could change the pillars for a more level playing field, get faster.
